Writing from Southern Africa where animal rights groups such as the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) continue to use their self-created rhino and elephant poaching crisis through sponsoring a CITES continued ban on rhino horn and ivory trade ban and then suspiciously raise millions of dollars annually to ‘save’ these mega fauna whose death warrants they ironically continue to sign through trade bans in their products – we find it very interesting that the HSUS CEO, Wayne Pacelle is being investigated for an alleged sexual violation of his own female employee but has never been alleged to have violated animal rights.
We have always argued and continue to argue here in Southern Africa that in the minds of animal rights champions/people, animal rights are more important than human rights.
In fact, Wayne Pacelle and the HSUS have been known to investigate and motivate for the arrest of people who violated animal rights and not human rights.
